How to Prolong the Life of High Pressure Valves?

High pressure valves have been widely used in the superhard material industry, chemical industry, petrochemical industry, processing technologies, isostatic pressing treatments, ultra-high hydrostatic extrusion, powder metallurgy, metal forming, geophysics and other fields.
Ultra high pressure valves can be used to control the flow of fluids such as air, water, steam, various corrosive media, mud, oil products, liquid metal and radiating media. The opening and closing part of the high pressure valve is a disc, which rotates around its own axis in the valve body, so as to open, close the valve, or regulate the flow.
1. Avoid the high pressure valve working under the condition of a small opening. If the valve needle has a small lift, the throttle gap is small and the erosion is serious when the needle is working at a small opening. Properly increase the pitch of the locking mechanism, the opening speed and lift, and the working opening, so that the throttle gap is large and the erosion is weakened, improving the service life of the valve.
2. Avoid the high pressure valve working at the high temperature medium. The temperature of media has a great influence on the service life of the valve. The higher the temperature of the medium, the shorter the service life of high pressure valves. Conversely, the lower the temperature of the medium, the longer the life of high pressure valves. Therefore, adding a cooling device to the pressure relief valve can obviously prolong the life of the valve.
3. Under different working pressures, use the corresponding sealing pressure, select an appropriate sealing pressure ratio, use a torque spanner to lock, or realize automatic control of high-pressure valve, so as to prevent the valve needle from being damaged when the needle is not washed and worn.
4. Regularly filter the high-pressure medium and clean the filter. When valves are used frequently, the cycle of filtering and cleaning should be shortened appropriately. Clean the oil tank at regular intervals and replace the new medium at the same time. Shorten the cycle of cleaning and oil change according to the actual working condition of the equipment.
5. Clean the needle valve when installing or replacing it, so as not to bring debris into the valve and accelerate the wear of the valve.
