1. Hoisting
The valve should be hoisted in the correct way. In order to protect the valve stem, do not tie the sling lifting chain to the handwheel, gear box or actuator. Do not remove the protective caps at both ends of the valve sleeve before welding.
2. Welding
The directly buried fully welded ball valve should be welded to the main pipeline. Usually, not all products welded once are up to standard. Therefore, when you are ordering valves, manufacturers should be required to add the sleeve, one metre in length, at both ends of the valves. Once the welds are unqualified, there are enough materials to be cut off and then the ball valves can be rewelded to pipes. During welding, the ball valve should be in full open position to avoid the ball being damaged by flying welding slag. At the same time, ensure that the temperature of the internal seals of the valves does not exceed 140 degrees Celsius. If necessary, appropriate cooling measures can be taken.
3. Masonry of the valve well
The directly buried fully welded ball valve uses special structural design, characterized by maintenance-free. Before the valve is buried, Pu—a special corrosion-resistant coating—is coated on the outside of the valve. Meanwhile, three injection pipes respectively used for emergency grease injection of the valve seat and the stem and the valve stem are appropriately extended according to the depth of burying the valve, so that workers can complete various operations on the ground. After the valve is buried underground, the small valve well can be built.
The good technical characteristics of the buried fully welded ball valve make the gas transmission pipeline an integral whole, which enhances the overall stress resistance and geological disaster resistance of the pipeline (including the valve), and reduces the possibility of leakage. The reliability of the valve is improved; the service life is prolonged; the installation and maintenance are very convenient.
