Features of Flange Butterfly Valves

The seat of flange butterfly valve is made of synthetic rubber. When the butterfly plate is closed, the outer round cover of the butterfly valve plate is pressed to squeeze the synthetic rubber valve seat, which causes elastic deformation of the valve seat and forms elastic force as the sealing specific pressure to ensure the sealing of butterfly valve.
Three structural features of flange butterfly valve:
1. The sealing ring of flange hard sealing butterfly valve seat is composed of multi-layer stainless steel plates on both sides of soft T-shaped sealing ring.
2.The sealing surface of valve plate and valve seat is of inclined conical structure, and the inclined conical surface of valve plate is overlaid with heat-resistant and corrosion-resistant alloy materials. The spring fixed between the pressure plates of the regulating ring and the adjusting bolt are assembled together. This structure effectively compensates the tolerance zone between the shaft sleeve and the valve body and the elastic deformation of the valve stem under the medium pressure, and solves the two-way exchange of medium transmission of the valve sealing problems in the process.
3. The sealing ring is composed of soft T-shaped multi-layer stainless steel sheets on both sides, which has the double advantages of metal hard sealing and soft sealing. It has zero leakage sealing performance no matter at low temperature or high temperature.
The main nine features of flange butterfly valve are as follows:
1. Small size, light weight, easy disassembly, assembly and maintenance. It can be installed in any position.
2. Simple structure, compact structure, small working torque and fast 90 degree rotation.
3. The flow characteristics tend to be straight and the regulation performance is good.
4. The connection between butterfly plate and valve rod adopts the structure without pin.
5. The outer circle of butterfly plate adopts spherical shape, which improves the sealing performance, prolongs the service life of the valve, and keeps zero leakage more than 50000 times under pressure.
6. The seal can be replaced, and the seal is reliable for two-way sealing.
7. The butterfly plate can be sprayed according to the user's requirements, such as nylon or polytetrafluoroethylene.
8. The valve can be designed as flange connection and clamping connection.
9. Manual, electric or pneumatic driving mode can be selected. Flange butterfly valve is suitable for water supply and drainage, sewage, food, heat supply, gas, ship, hydropower, metallurgy, energy system, light and textile industries with temperature ≤ 120 ℃ or ≤ 150 ℃ and nominal pressure ≤ 1.6Mpa. It is especially suitable for bidirectional sealing and valve body corrosion.
