As opening and closing equipment, the electric flat gate valve is suitable for transmission pipelines, blowdown systems and steam storage devices such as those in natural gas, petroleum, chemical industry, environmental protection.

1. The sealing structure of the valve seat should be elastic with pretightening force, and the upstream and downstream sealing seats should function at the same time.

2. The valve seat has self-cleaning function, and the air flow is not directly right at the seat when the valve is opened or closed. The valve seat shall be made of lubricating and wearproof materials.

3. The failure of the valve actuator will not affect other parts of electric flat gate valves, and the maintenance and replacement of these valves can be done without removing them.
A Flat Gate Valve
(1) Yoke bushings—The aluminum bronze yoke bushings are equipped with needle thrust bearings to minimize the operating torque.

(2) The valve stem—
 
  • Thread length to the carrier. 
  • The pin and spot welding. 
  • Good stability.

(3) A pressure seal—Simple design has the segmented retaining ring and the silver-plated low-carbon steel gasket, which facilitates disassembly and offers the optimal bonnet seal.

(4) The seat ring—The welded seat ring is perpendicular to the flow channel and easy to maintain.

(5) Actuators—Valves can be equipped with electric, hydraulic or pneumatic actuators. Standard manual handwheels are provided below DN300, and bevel gears is provided above DN350.

(6) The yoke—The fully assembled yoke has passed the seismic test and is easy to maintain and install the actuator.

(7) The gland—Two-piece, self-regulating gland avoids cocking.

(8) The integral backseat—The hard surface with maximum service life.

(9) The disc—The spring-loaded disc can adjust itself to reduce the torque of the actuator.

(10) Integral stop—The integrally cast carrier stop device positions the assembled cast disc, which makes the seat more stable.
