Through reasonable rotation wheel layout and length and the control of seamless steel pipes, the suspension output of seamless steel pipes’ ends can be controlled within 600 mm, which can effectively reduce the centrifugal force during quenching and reduce the bending degree of seamless steel pipes’ ends.
(3) Reasonable control of rotating wheel speeds.
(4) Control water quenching rotation wheel center. The center deviation of rotating wheel has a great influence on the bending of seamless steel pipes during quenching. After the relevant research, the center range of the rotating wheel should be controlled within 0 - 5 mm.
(5) Control the amount and uniformity of internal and external water spraying. When the outer surface laminar cooling and inner axial injection are used for quenching and cooling of the oil well pipes, the size and uniformity of the outer water jet, the size of the inner water jet and the ratio of the inner nozzle are also important factors affecting the bending of seamless steel pipes during the water quenching.
