The structure of valve seat for bi-directional butterfly valve

For bi-directional butterfly valves of small size or low pressure application, they usually have seat ring of same structure as uni-directional butterfly valves.
But joint dimensions for some parts are different.
For butterfly valves of large size or high pressure application, they must be designed with a floating seat. The seat on valve body will self-correct by pressure
from different directions to be completely sealed. We now can produce bi-directional butterfly valves with the floating seat at max pressure 600LB or PN100.
