Taurus 80 Will Set up a New Plant in the U.S.

Taurus 80 in Turin, Italy is planting to set up the first plant in the U.S. for its subsidiary corporation – Taurus Die Casting Limited Liability Company which is located in Rochford, Illinois.

The zinc alloy die casting manufacturer is recruiting 37 employees and investing 6.4 million dollars to set up a plant which covers an area of 44,000 square foot. Taurus 80 is mainly engaging in manufacturing zinc alloy die casting parts. There are 268 employees in its other two plants which are located in Turin, Italy and Tunisia.

According to the report of local medium - Rockford Register-Star, Taurus Die Casting Limited Liability Company had already begun to build new plant and invested half a million dollars. Roberto Marsell, the President and CEO of the corporation had already begun to search for new sites for building new plant.

“In the U.S., our customers and suppliers are mainly located in central and western regions. It is also the regions where our business growing.” He said, “That is the reason why we invest here. Moreover, abundant local labor force is also the key factor.”

He supplemented that the new corporation planned to increase its employees to 75 in the next 5 years.
