In the January-April period of this year, China's steel sheet/plate exports totaled 18.08 million mt, up 50.7 percent year on year, according to the Chinese customs authorities.
In April alone, China exported 5.27 million mt of steel sheet/plate, up 57.2 percent year on year, while decreasing by 0.19 percent month on month.
